West 10th Eyes was founded in 1993 on the belief that exceptional eye care should be the basis of our clinic. We believe that our eyes are a fundamental part of our sensory experience, and that maintaining excellent eye health helps us enjoy an excellent quality of life.

Who Are We? A
Part of Point Grey
For Over 22 Years

We opened our clinic in Point Grey in 1993 with just our founding doctor – Dr. Rupnow – and one assistant. Over time, as we became involved in our local community, our clinic grew.

Today, we are four Optometrists and 10 support staff. Our clinic is in a beautiful office designed by Maxam Designs International, and we continue to provide industry-leading eye care. We have also expanded our selection of frames and lenses, providing more options and styles than ever before.

While we happily accept new patients from all over, we have a notable presence in Vancouver’s Westside, West Point Grey, UBC, Dunbar, Kerrisdale, Shaughnessy, Kitsilano, and Broadway.

to Eye Care

We work with agencies all over the world to donate time and resources to optical causes. Dr. Rupnow recently sponsored the Ascenta Foundation’s medical mission to Nicaragua, where over 2,000 people received eye care.

Dr. Cullis has participated in eye care missions in developing nations, including Addis Adaba, Ethiopia.

All our Optometrists speak in surrounding school districts. We believe in promoting education about your eyes and how to care for them.
